Leina has over 22 years of experience in the real estate, facilities and construction industries. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Immediately after college she entered the construction industry in an executive internship program with the General Services Administration (GSA) where she oversaw two million square feet of federal office and courthouse space. Throughout her career, Leina has held many executive positions including Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a mid-sized general contractor, and later held the role as co-leader of the San Francisco office for another bay area based general contractor. Prior to working in commercial construction, Leina spent her career running commercial real estate and facilities for various corporations in the Bay Area. A passion for community involvement is evident in Leina’s work outside of the office. She’s the founder and president of a business networking and philanthropy organization for women in the commercial real estate industry in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. She has held leadership positions with the following organizations: USGBC SV, CoreNet Northern California Chapter, IFMA SV and BOMA SV. Leina also served on the Editorial Board of The Registry. Leina was named Silicon Valley Women of Influence in 2011 by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and was also named Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence by the San Francisco Business Times in 2011. Leina has earned multiple designations in her field, including LEED AP in interior design + construction. Leina has lived in the Bay Area for most of her life and currently lives in the Peninsula with her husband and three daughters.
Mark has been in the construction industry for 26 years – spending 20 of those years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Shortly after high-school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and attended a naval technical school to study welding, brazing, pipefitting and sheet metal fabrication. Shortly after, he attended the College of Oceaneering in Wilmington, California where he studied "Hard Hat" diving which involved learning underwater welding inspection techniques. Mark is very involved in charities and has worked with the Make A Wish Foundation, Boys & Girl Club, SF Deputy Sheriff’s Association, LEAP Arts in Education and others. He currently lives in Oakland and enjoys skiing, scuba diving and travel.
Raised in a family of General Contractors, Jim has a very special appreciation and knowledge of the construction industry. After attending Centralia Community College and Evergreen State College in Washington State and earning an AA degree, Jim spent 13 years as a Senior Combination Building Inspector. In 2007, Jim became a member of the Clune family where his accomplishments have contributed to his rise from Project Superintendent to his present title as a Vice President of the firm. Jim has accumulated over 37 years of construction industry experience. Jim gives back to his community through his active involvement with Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Colin brings over 19 years of experience in the construction industry. His career began in 2001 after shadowing a senior-level superintendent at a large construction firm for four years. There he learned the intricacies of construction and was hired full time as a Project Engineer and worked his way up to Project Manager. Colin has a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction management from Purdue University. Colin currently serves as Senior Project Manager at Clune Construction. He is involved in numerous charities including San Francisco Police Funds, San Francisco Firemen Funds, Boys and Girls Scouts of America, St. Patrick School Angel Fund and Marin County Spark Fund. Colin is a fourth-generation San Francisco native and his family has served San Francisco for over 100 years in local law enforcement, giving him strong ties in both public and private sectors. He is a St. Ignatius College Preparatory Alumni Class Representative and an active member in the Olympic and Dolphin Clubs.
Cooper has been in the Commercial Construction industry in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 5 years. Cooper became fascinated with the construction industry after overseeing the build out of a call center. Since then, Cooper has worked in construction, learning the business from the ground up. Throughout his career he has worked on high-profile commercial construction projects for Fortune 500 companies. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science with a business minor from the University of Oregon, and completed the UC Berkeley Construction Management certificate program in 2016. He currently lives in Oakland, California and previously spent three months traveling Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia before joining Clune.
