New York, NY – January 10th, 2024 – Clune Construction (Clune) is excited to announce the promotion of Sean Clune to President of the company’s New York office. Clune will co-lead the New York office with Nancy Chin, who has been promoted to Executive Vice President.
Building on a rich tradition of promoting from within, Clune Construction has selected Clune and Chin to lead the firm’s New York office based on their contributions to its rapid growth and success.
Sean Clune, LEED AP, a key contributor to the expansion of Clune Construction in the New York region, now assumes the role of President for this office, marking a significant milestone in his career. Before this promotion, his title was Managing Director, New York Operations. With 20 years of construction management experience, he started his career in the firm’s Chicago headquarters and has traveled throughout the U.S. to lead several Mission Critical projects. Nancy Chin, who has over 28 years of experience working in the construction industry, has been named Executive Vice President. Prior to her promotion, she served as Senior Vice President, Project Executive, overseeing various high-profile projects for the office. In Chin’s 12-year tenure, she has been instrumental in growing Clune’s New York office from just a few projects with existing national clients to a prominent New York City general contractor. She has been integral in training new talent and is also a leader in the continuous improvement at Clune Construction. She is part of the firm’s New York Training Committee and Mentoring Program. All of this makes Chin an exceptional leader and mentor for the New York office and its employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
“I have worked alongside Sean and Nancy to establish and grow Clune Construction’s presence in the New York region.
