New York, NY – July 7, 2020 – In keeping with its culture of promoting from within, Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to announce the promotion of three talented professionals in its New York office to officer-level positions.
Jessica Doyle, Mike Garafola and Jake Tozour received promotions in recognition of their significant contributions to Clune and the important role they play in the company’s future growth.
“Throughout their tenure at Clune, all of these individuals have proven themselves to be leaders and mentors who will continue to make our company stronger for our clients and our employees,” said Bill Abromitis, CEO of Clune Construction.
Jessica Doyle has been promoted to Vice President, Regional Marketing – New York at Clune Construction. With 11 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry, Jessica is the leader of Clune’s marketing efforts within the New York region and has been instrumental in growing Clune New York’s marketing team. In addition to her marketing experience, she also has a background in photography and architecture. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from New York University, and a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
Mike Garafola was promoted to Vice President, Senior Superintendent. Mike has 25 years of construction industry experience, and played a key role in helping structure, train and develop Clune’s New York Mission Critical team both in the field and the office. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology. Mike holds several professional certifications including the OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour, 4 Hour Scaffold Certification, and Electrical Safety Certificate.
Jake Tozour has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Project Manager at Clune Construction. Jake is involved in all phases of the project, from pre-construction through project close-out, and has trained others in the New York office to be client-focused. Jake has been at the forefront of developing and growing the Banking and Healthcare sectors in New York.
“Each of these individuals have played a major role in keeping Clune at the forefront of our market,” says Ben Walker, President of Clune’s East Region. “They each have an unwavering commitment and dedication to the success of our company.”
Clune is proud of its culture of promoting from within. Several Managing Directors and Officers started with the company as interns and the average tenure of a Managing Director is 17 years. Additionally, 20 percent of Clune’s employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. This culture has also contributed to Clune’s consistent placement nationally in numerous “Best Places to Work” rankings.
