Clune Construction Continues Culture of Promoting From Within as January Wilson is Promoted to Executive Position in Los Angeles
Chicago, IL – May 10, 2022 – Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to continue its long-standing tradition of promoting from within by announcing the promotion of January Wilson to an executive-level position. Wilson received this promotion in recognition of her significant contributions to Clune and the important role she plays in the company’s future growth.

Wilson has been promoted to Vice President, Project Executive, Team Leader. She began her career in construction 20 years ago, as an Estimating Assistant for a Los Angeles-based general contractor. In 2012, she joined Clune as a Project Manager and quickly rose through the ranks while taking on the responsibility of managing a team. During her tenure at Clune, she has overseen a variety of build-outs including high-end law firms, accounting firms and entertainment companies. Wilson has played a key role in the success of Clune’s Los Angeles office. She has a great deal of experience working on larger projects that involve base building contractors, and she shines in her ability to navigate difficult construction projects. Wilson immerses herself in her work and always goes the extra mile to ensure their success. She collaborates well with her team members, and is able to successfully develop those who are just starting out in their careers. Wilson graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a degree in Business Management.
“January has been an incredibly valuable and key member of the Los Angeles team for 10 years,” said Randy Starbird, Clune’s President of the West Region. “It has been thrilling to watch her tackle each new challenge as a Team Leader and I look forward to her doing the same as a Vice President.”
Clune is proud of its culture of promoting from within. Several Managing Directors and Officers started with the company as interns and the average tenure of a Managing Director is 17 years. Additionally, 20 percent of Clune’s employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. This culture has also contributed to Clune’s consistent placement nationally in numerous “Best Places to Work” rankings.
