Clune Construction Continues Culture of Promoting from Within As Scott Lomax Is Promoted to Executive Position in Phoenix
Chicago, IL – May 17, 2023 – Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to continue its long-standing tradition of promoting from within by announcing the promotion of Scott Lomax to an executive-level position. Lomax received this promotion in acknowledgment of his substantial contributions to Clune and his pivotal role in the company’s future growth.

Lomax has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Superintendent. He began his tenure with Clune in the firm’s New York office as a Superintendent in 2019. Lomax’s strong background in the industry and work ethic did not go unnoticed. Shortly after his start, he moved to Phoenix to help establish the company’s presence in the Southwest. His leadership and adaptability have helped him lead teams in both regions on numerous successful high-profile projects. Outside of his work at Clune, Lomax gives his time at local food bank organizations and is a supporter of the Special Olympics.
“Scott has become a key player in establishing Clune’s presence down in Phoenix,” said Adam Wojack, Senior Vice President, General Manager of Clune’s Phoenix office. “It has been a pleasure watching him adapt to new projects and team. I look forward to seeing Scott take his approach to new levels as Vice President.”
Clune is proud of its culture of promoting from within. Many officers started with the company as interns, and the average tenure of a Managing Director is 17 years. Additionally, 20 percent of Clune’s employees have been with the company for over 10 years.
