Chicago, IL – May 17, 2023 – Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to continue its long-standing tradition of promoting from within by announcing the promotion of Shane Murphy to an executive-level position. Murphy received this promotion in acknowledgment of his substantial contribution to Clune and his pivotal role in the company’s future growth.

Murphy has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Project Executive. After working nearly 20 years in the construction industry, he joined Clune in 2011, helping establish the company’s Washington, DC office. Murphy was instrumental in building the foundation of the field team, as well as Clune’s Mission Critical footprint in the DC area. Murphy has contributed to Clune’s success and its continued growth through his dedication to leadership, teamwork, and the company itself. A 25-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, Murphy served for two years on Operation Iraqi Freedom.
